Title amended 20th February 2014 – blog on that here - Euromaidan – Needless Deaths, Hollow Victory
Why are you almost never reading the truth about Euromaidan?
It’s quite simple, because much of the media chose the sides of the protesters early on, and now, they would simply lose too much face to admit that even ‘if’ Euromaidan was once an idealistic struggle for a better Ukraine, it’s long been an extreme far-right attempt to overthrow Ukraine.
Let’s take the Kyiv Post’s Chris Miller, who from the start saw an opportunity to advance his career on the back of a wave of pro-Euromaidan. Chris’s pro-Euromaidan stance has seen his Twitter followers go from under 1000 to over 4000, while he’s picked up lucrative freelance writing contracts. Read more about him here -
And it’s continued along those lines – every protester injured is a brave, idealistic hero, every Ukrainian policeman is a sadistic scumbag, in Chris’s world, and much of the other media. Recently, Chris has been showing how funny he finds Molotov Cocktails and fireworks – they must be funny, because they are only thrown at policemen, of course -
And so, how did Chris respond to the killing, allegedly by Ukrainian police, of Armenian activist Sergey Nigoyan, who has been violently campaigning in central Kiev for over a month. By showing this photo, with the inevitable ‘wonderful person’ epitaph.
Well, here are the real photos, here’s the real Sergey Nigoyan. He was one of two things – a paid mercenary, or an extreme right-wing terrorist, in Kiev to fight for neo-Nazi party Svoboda. Most likely, he was both.
For these photos, and many other images of weapons and incitement to violence, have a look at Sergey’s Vkontakte profile -
Sources report him as a member of an Armenian liberation movement strongy linked to terrorism. He himself has posted a photo of the ASALA, an Armenian group widely classified as ‘terrorist’ -
